Unit 7 blog

Unit 7 Blog:
Describe the saying: "One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself” (P.477)    how does this apply to the health and wellness professional? Do you have an obligation to your clients to be developing your health psychologically, physically, and spiritually? Why or why not? How can you implement psychological and spiritual growth in your personal life?
To understand the saying “One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself” means that in order for one instruct, and to lead another to a different level of healing it is important to know how to take that same path and become transformed as we want our clients to be, and to learn the different steps and levels before you can instruct others to travel the same path.  This saying can apply really to any profession, as a health and wellness instructor it is important for me to experience what I am asking my client’s to experience, how will I know if they ( the clients) will have experienced the proper outcome If I do not know what to expect myself.  I believe that it is my obligation to experience psychologically, physically, and spiritually as I would want my client to experience those same   aspects.   The one way I know to implement psychological and spiritual growth is to experience the same type of transformation that is expected of the client.

This blog was sent last Friday while on vacation but  am not sure if posted or not.
